50 Virginia College Presidents Sign Letter of Protest Against Obama’s Proposed Rating System

Rating system places emphasis on income and is counter to the principles that serve the American system of higher education.
Basing the new rating system on gradutation rates would be a serious error based on the current formula for caluating the graduation rates. There is a clear correalation between lower income backgrounds generally having lower graduation rates.
