AdvertisingAge Magazine Ranks Ad Venture Interactive No. 175 in its Agency Report 2009

New York – (June 9, 2009) – Ad Venture Interactive (AVI) was recently ranked #175 among the top 200 advertising agencies in the United States by AdvertisingAge magazine. The rankings were based on 2008 annual revenue reported from AVI’s three divisions: PlattForm Advertising, Beauty Schools Marketing Group and Transportation Marketing Group.

The top 200 agency listing was published in AdAge this spring. The publication has a global readership of 198,000 people and includes some of the most high-profile executives and creative minds in the advertising field.

AVI’s ranking on the AdAge list was powered by the performance of PlattForm based in Lenexa, Kan. The agency reported $34 million for gross income in 2008, almost a $10 million bump from the number it reported for 2007. Employee numbers grew as well from 300 to 351.

Nationally, PlattForm is the largest provider of advertising and marketing services to the higher education realm. The agency’s client base is predominantly career colleges, or what are often referred to in the traditional news media as “for-profit” or “trade” schools.

AdAge’s ranking follows PlattForm’s placement as the Kansas City area’s fourth largest advertising agency by The Kansas City Business Journal for the fourth consecutive year. On the Business Journal list, PlattForm leapfrogged a spot in employee count to become the third largest ad employer in the Kansas City area.
