Drinker Biddle Welcomes Elise Scanlon to Washington D.C. Office

WASHINGTON – Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP welcomes Elise Scanlon as counsel on the Education Law Team in the Government & Regulatory Affairs Practice Group. Scanlon, who joins the firm after having served as executive director from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) for the last 10 years, will practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Scanlon spent nearly the past decade as the executive director at the ACCSCT. There, she has been a leading voice on national policy issues impacting accreditation and postsecondary education. “Joining Drinker Biddle feels like the natural next step in my career progression” said Scanlon. “I am looking forward to joining a team that is so well respected in the higher education community.”

Scanlon earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. She received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in history, with minors in education and French, from Dickinson College.
