Kaplan’s Parent Sells Washington Post To Amazon’s Bezos

Bezos is getting its newspaper operations, leaving Washington Post. Co., which will likely have a new name, with Kaplan, six TV stations, Celtic Healthcare and Forney Corp.
The educational revenue for the company in the first quarter was $527.8 million, down from $546.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.
With a large office in Fort Lauderdale, Kaplan has had more than 1,600 employees in Broward County.
