KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 22, 2009) – Professional Fitness Institute celebrity spokesman Jay Cutler accomplished more than one impressive feat in winning the 2009 Mr. Olympia title. Cutler won the bodybuilding championship for the third time in his career on Sept. 26 in Las Vegas, Nev., becoming only the third Mr. Olympia in the history of the competition to reclaim the title, and the only Mr. Olympia in history to reclaim the title after losing it. Cutler has the 2006, 2007, and 2009 Mr. Olympia titles.
Returning on stage and defeating the reigning champion Dexter Jackson, Cutler joined Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lee Haney in retaining the title that is considered the highest accolade in professional bodybuilding.
Cutler hopes to continue to use his title to promote the fitness industry and the mission of Pinnacle Career Institute’s “Professional Fitness Institute” Personal Trainer program.
“Personal fitness training is in huge demand and is expanding both as an educational option and a career choice,” Cutler said. “I hope that as Mr. Olympia I can continue to bring some added attention to this important cause and the quality training provided by PCI.”
