View the U.S. Department of Education’s New Student Aid Rules

The Obama administration today released a broad set of rules to strengthen federal student aid programs at for-profit, nonprofit and public institutions. The rules ban colleges from paying recruiters based on the number of students they sign up, set guidelines for course credits and mandate that schools notify the government of new job-training courses.
