FIRST PLACE AT PX3 PHOTO COMPETITION IN PARIS
While pursing a degree in Computer Arts and New Media in art school, Anthony Kurtz discovered a passion for documentary photography. This passion recently won him three awards at the Prix de la Photographie (Px3) competition in Paris. Anthony says the interactive media and portfolio building skills he is learning in art school have enhanced his photography.
MISSOURI PHOTO WORKSHOP
Photography school graduate Sean Posey was accepted into the world-famous Missouri Photo Workshop (MPW) this year. Known as the best, most competitive photojournalism workshop in the world, MPW gave Sean the chance to apply skills learned in an Academy of Art University photography class to develop a moving photo essay of life in a small town in Missouri.
EDDIE ADAMS WORKSHOP
Master's student Andre Hermann won a coveted spot in the Eddie Adams Workshop in New York through the portfolio of work he has created in Academy of Art University photography classes.
