Almeda University launches new website
Almeda University today announced the launch of a new website designed to inform prospective students and provide valuable services to current students and alumni. The website, www.almedauniversity.org, received a complete design and functionality overhaul and is now even more capable of meeting the needs of its users.
With over 500 pages on the main site, the new Almeda University website is large by any standard. Sites of this size notoriously present an organizational challenge, which Almeda web developers addressed from the beginning. According to Almeda University spokesman Richard Franklin, “our intention with this site was to create a truly useful tool for anyone out there who may be looking for a flexible and cost effective way to get a college degree. Because we know that our site users are busy people, we endeavored to create an environment with simple and intuitive navigation so users can quickly and easily find what they are seeking.”
The new website makes it easier for Almeda University students to complete an Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree online. Students can determine the pace of their education, studying when it best suits their schedules. “We know that our students come from all walks of life and each brings an individual set of challenges and obstacles to furthering their education,” Franklin comments. “Almeda University is dedicated to removing as many of those obstacles as we can to bring advanced learning to more people. The new website is one way we are simplifying the process to allow those with even the tightest of schedules and budgets to earn a degree.”
The Almeda University team is excited about the new website and the overall feeling is that the website and the programs it facilitates will make a significant difference in the lives of those who are seeking a degree online. “Our goals were to provide a time-saving, user-friendly experience and comprehensive information on the hundreds of degrees available from Almeda University,” Franklin states. “We are happy to say that we have met those goals.”
