Becker Professional Review launches Scholarships for Success Program
Becker Professional Review, a subsidiary of DeVry Inc. (NYSE: DV), announced that it has launched a new Scholarships for Success program which will grant Becker CPA Review scholarships valued at $2,690 each to 50 deserving students who need financial
assistance to prepare for the CPA Exam.
To identify Scholarships for Success candidates, Becker is seeking the help of U.S. accounting professors. Each professor can nominate one student who demonstrates high moral character and leadership qualities, aspire to achieve significant career goals, plan to sit for the exam, will shortly meet CPA Exam requirements, and needs financial assistance to prepare.
Once a student has been selected, the professor and nominated student will complete the scholarship application together online at www.beckercpa.com/beckerscholarship. The submission deadline for applications is Monday, March 3, 2008.

Becker has stepped up to provide needed assistance to future candidates by offering scholarships to 50 deserving students. The scholarships will serve a dual purpose - they ease the financial burden of preparation and increase the likelihood that the students will pass the exam.”
Each scholarship may be applied to a complete four-part course in our live, online, or self-study CD format. Students who have accepted positions with firms that partner with Becker Professional Review and reimburse for the Becker CPA Review course, are not eligible.
Over 400,000 candidates have successfully passed the CPA Exam using Becker CPA Review. Additionally, Becker students pass at the twice the rate of all CPA Exam candidates who did not take a Becker Review course, based on averages of AICPA-published pass rates.
