Coleman College Announces Achievement of University Status and Transition to Coleman University

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2008) –  Coleman College announced today that the institution has officially achieved university status and has changed its name to Coleman University.

On October 28, 2008, Coleman University was granted approval of name change by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), a national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Coleman University is a San Diego-based institution that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in technology-related career fields and graphic design. The announcement comes as the university celebrates several organizational landmarks.
