Marketing managers are in charge of creating and implementing marketing campaigns that promote interest in a company’s product. They work together with a team of other marketers to create promotional material that will sell a client’s message to the public.
Marketing managers have a number of typical job duties:
Collaborate with clients and members of their team to create a campaign to increase interest in a product
Plan promotional items for a product, including coupons, sales or giveaways
Decide how and where to advertise a product
Discuss contracts for services with a client
Research and analyze data to understand the consumer market and how to best reach consumers through their campaign
Work with the client to develop a message, edit work and determine pricing for service
