ACCSC Now Requires Use Of Third-Party Verifications Of Employment
Career College Central summary:
Recently, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) made new requirements for all its schools to begin using a third-party placement verification provider starting January 2014.
Placement verifiers has confirmed that the company meets all seven points of ACCSC’s new Independent Test Requirements, giving ACCSC schools more choices when it comes to selecting a third party verification partner.
What follows is the verbiage that the ACCSC distributed in their recent Alert related to using a provider such as Placement Verifiers. From ACCSC Accreditation Alert July 1, 2013: "If a school chooses to use a different independent third-party employment verification auditor, that auditor must meet the following seven tests to be considered an "Independent" Third-Party."
Placement Verifiers has developed documentation that details their point-by-point response for how the company complies with each of the seven ACCSC test requirements. You can find the document Placement Verifiers – ACCSC Independent Test Requirements on the company website at www.placementverifiers.com.
