Naperville, IL — The Antonelli College ‘A-Campaign’ has been recognized by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals with a 2011 Platinum Hermes Creative Award in the Advertising/Television Spot category. The winning entry consisted of one :60 commercial as well as four :30 television spots. PlattForm Advertising, the College’s advertising partner, developed the creative and execution for the campaign. The Antonelli College ‘A-Campaign’ was one of three Platinum Hermes statues for the Lenexa, KS-based group.
PlattForm Advertising/Antonelli College was one of 12 recipients in the category. The winning group was highlighted by the inclusion of Samsung Mobile Samsung Galaxy S — Epic Entertainment commercial. The full list included Ameredia Inc./Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, Don’t Panik!/Lifetime Movie Network, Duffey Petrosky/Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, InterMedia Advertising/Roni Duetch Tax Center, LifeBridge Health/ Heart Center at Sinai Hospital, PIXEL 7 CIE/LeBel Communication, Bain Ultra, Pub point com/ Telebec-Northern Tel, and Ron Foth Advertising/California Academy of Sciences.
The A-Campaign is the introductory phase of the rebranding efforts of the College which launched in January. Other elements of the campaign included newly designed logo, website and collateral.
“I was enamored with PlattForm’s vision for our rebranding efforts from the earliest stages of the creative process; it was obvious this campaign was going to be special,” said Jason Davis, VP of Marketing and Admissions. “The television spots are incredible, and we believe they are able to effectively tell the Antonelli College story to the community.”
“The objective of the ‘A-Campaign’ was to relaunch the Antonelli College brand in a completely new way,” said Nicole Hoadley, Director of Marketing and PR. “For us, attending Antonelli College is the first step in a long journey. We wanted to communicate ‘A better tomorrow’ is more than just a tagline, it’s a reality for the students, graduates, employers and beyond.”
A total of 409 North American companies were included on the awards roster. Among those were companies like the American Red Cross National Headquarters, GEICO, Golf Channel and Hilton Hotels and Resorts.
The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals determines Platinum, Gold and Honorable Mention prizes based on a consensus judging system.
