("BrightStar"), a leading post-secondary education company that provides post-secondary education to more than 3,300 students through six campuses in California and Oregon, announced today that William "Bill" Hillard has been named its Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors. BrightStar is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, a Washington, DC-based private equity firm with over $1.4 billion under management. BrightStar, through its subsidiaries, offers career-oriented degree and diploma programs in high demand curricula in Allied Health (including Licensed Nursing), Business, Culinary and Technical fields through 18 different program offerings.

Bill Hillard has 14 years of experience in the post-secondary education industry, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Anthem Education Group, a group consisting of 23 accredited post-secondary education institutions in 15 states and an Online Division. Bill was instrumental in the growth and quality of career-oriented education throughout the Anthem organization. Bill was able to deliver consistent growth for the organization, balanced with a keen focus on maintaining compliance, quality and student outcomes. Prior to joining Anthem, Bill served over 26 years as an Officer and Aviator in the United States Army. Bill holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Troy State University and a M.B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University.
