Brown Mackie College is scheduled to hold its first classes April 5 at its new Albuquerque campus at Copper Pointe.
Eric Rudie has been named the college’s president for the Duke City campus and previously was executive director of operations at Summit Career College in Colton, Calif.
The college will offer bachelor’s degrees in four fields, including business administration, criminal justice, health care management and legal studies. The college also will offer two year associate’s degrees in 12 fields. This will be the college’s 24th campus and is a branch of its Tucson, Ariz., college.
Brown Mackie has leased 35,000 square feet at 10500 Copper Ave. NE and is the first tenant to sign at Copper Pointe, the former Siemens Stromberg Carlson manufacturing plant site that has been renovated by developer Ted Waterman.
