China Cast Education Corporation to Participate at the Piper Jaffray and China Venture Investment Conference

ChinaCast Education Corporation (the "Company" or "ChinaCast") (Nasdaq:CAST), a leading for-profit, post-secondary and e-learning services provider in China, today announced that the Company will participate in the Piper Jaffray & ChinaVenture Investment Conference, which will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Shanghai, China, March 16-17, 2009.

Mr. Ron Chan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will participate in an education panel at 1:45 pm, China Time, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. The Company will also participate in one-on-one meetings with analysts and investors.
