Daymar College has entered into a lease agreement with P & P Real Estate, LLC, of Lexington, KY.
Daymar College President, Mark Gabis, is pleased to announce that Daymar’s campus located at 76 Carothers Road in Newport will be relocating to new space in Bellevue, KY on the riverfront at Harbor Greene, pending final regulatory approval. The lease is for the entire fourth floor at 119 Fairfield Avenue, Bellevue, KY 41073.
“Our goal at Daymar is to offer a motivational environment conducive to learning. We want our students to feel at home on campus in a warm, friendly and nurturing atmosphere and this facility will offer the fun and stimulating environment we want for them,” said Gabis.
The 27,231 sq. ft. fourth floor facility, located in Harbor Greene, offers a panoramic view of the Ohio River and riverfront development. It is both inspirational and spacious enough to allow growth for the campus.
Daymar College is planning build-out activities to prepare the space for Daymar students, faculty and associates. Work will begin as soon as all permits and approvals are obtained.
Donald Taylor, Vice President of Business Development for Daymar, predicts that the Newport, KY campus will be relocated in September to the Harbor Greene facility and will add about 100 new students. “We look to have about 400 students in the fall, and expect more growth for 2010 as exciting new programs are added,” Taylor said.
