Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu), an award-winning entertainment media university near Orlando, FL, is now adding a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Internet Marketing to the University's academic offerings beginning in Fall 2008.
The new Bachelor's degree, a 25-month online program, will incorporate courses that range from Social Media Optimization and Search Engine Optimization to Web Design for marketing professionals and Affiliate Marketing. The new Master's degree, a 12-month online program, will focus on advanced courses including Internet Marketing Strategies to Internet Consumer Behavior and Web Analytics.
In addition, these programs will teach students many aspects of Internet Public Relations and Information Technology Communications, which will give graduates the ability to immediately work in this growing industry.
"What makes these degree programs unique is the ability to move as fast as the industry and cover topics that are specific to the Internet Marketing field," said Nell Thompson, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Full Sail University. "The degree will be instructed through an online educational environment where the students' learning experience is as dynamic and engaging as the Internet Marketing field itself."
The Internet Marketing Master of Science Degree Program will also address topics that will provide students with the necessary tools to create a viable marketing and strategic plan for selling products, developing and cultivating a brand, and protecting the entity within the Internet community.
"The Internet Marketing Bachelor of Science Degree provides the learner with many courses that are necessary for today's Internet Marketer – traditional marketing concepts, web design and usability, specialized Internet marketing topics, and the online customer experience," said Ani Gasti, Program Director of Internet Marketing. "It is the understanding of each of these components that makes a graduate dynamic and flexible with the ability to become a vital contributor in this extremely fast-paced field."
