Lincoln Educational Services Corporation Names Scott M. Shaw Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

WEST ORANGE, N.J., Apr. 6, 2012 — Lincoln Educational Services Corporation today announced that Scott M. Shaw has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Shaw will assume the role which was last held by Shaun E. McAlmont, Lincoln's President and Chief Executive Officer.

"Scott is a proven and talented executive who has served Lincoln with distinction during the past 11 years," said Shaun McAlmont. "He has played a pivotal role operationally and strategically in managing Lincoln's growth efforts and strong regulatory track record. Scott has a deep knowledge of the education business and our markets and he is very familiar with the nuances of the changing regulatory environment. Scott's diligent attitude, thoughtful and team-oriented approach, and his dedication to Lincoln's students and staff, have positioned him well to manage the operations of our company."

Mr. Shaw joined Lincoln in 2001 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, a position he has held for the last five years. He has 11 years of industry experience and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
