Northcentral University Expands Campus to Scottsdale with Opening of New Enrollment Center in McDowell Mountain Business Park

Prescott Valley, Arizona, July 19, 2010 — In response to the growing number of prospective Learners enquiring about its degree programs, Northcentral University (www.ncu.edu), a global leader in 100% online higher education, today announced the opening of its new 8,000 square-foot enrollment center in the McDowell Mountain Business Park, located at 16425 North Pima Road in Scottsdale. At the same time, Eric Stoddard, Chief Enrollment Officer at Northcentral University, announced that as a result of the growing numbers of prospective Learners enquiring about the University’s Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programs, the enrollment staff at the Scottsdale office has doubled in size since the center’s opening in January 2010.  Stoddard foresees this growth continuing well into the 2011 year.

“Enrollments are up significantly and, in fact, they have doubled over the last three years,” Stoddard explained today.  “Managing these enrollments while responding to the growing number of questions from prospective Learners requires that we expand to meet our applicants’ needs..  This new enrollment center, coupled with our plans to increase staff from 60 to 100 over the next year or so, will enable us to continue responding to prospective Learners efficiently and effectively.”

The new Scottsdale center is home to Northcentral University enrollment team members dedicated to welcoming new Learners to the University’s community.  “From the time a prospective Learner inquires about Northcentral, enrollment team members help to ensure their experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible,” assures Stoddard.  “Enrollment team members are available to discuss available courses, help prospective Learners arrange all necessary paperwork and transcripts from prior universities, and assist in selecting the first courses new Learners will take.”

The announcement of the new Scottsdale enrollment center comes at a time when Northcentral University is growing and expanding in virtually every area of its operations.  With total enrollments soon to exceed 10,000 students, the University last month announced the creation of two new senior management positions, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer, to manage the business affairs of the University, leaving the offices of President and Provost to guide the University’s current and long-term academic programs.
