Capella University, an accredited online university that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, was selected by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [NYSE: SAI] to design an education cohort for its employees. The cohort will be created for SAIC employees who enroll into the online university’s master’s degree program focusing on Information Assurance and Security.

Capella University is one of the select four-year colleges and graduate-level universities designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE). The designation is for the academic years 2007–2012. The online master’s specialization in Information Assurance and Security is designed around the domains of knowledge in the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) certification.
Capella University offers the specialization at the graduate certificate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree level.
