Universal Technical Institute Appoints Former US Education Secretary Page to Board

PHOENIX (AP) — Universal Technical Institute appointed Roderick Page, former U.S. Secretary of Education, to its board of directors, the organization said Thursday.

Paige served as secretary from 2001 to 2005.

"He brings tremendous educational and regulatory experience from his 53 year career in the education sector," said board chairman John White.

Universal Technical Institute Inc., an automotive technician training organization, is headquartered in Phoenix.
