Public safety blog launched by faculty members of Capella University

A new blog focusing on public safety and law enforcement issues has been launched by two public safety faculty members of Capella University. Titled “Public Safety Signals” , it provides a venue for those working or interested in the fields of public safety and law enforcement to join in conversations about the latest news, trends and other important issues related to public safety. The authors – Charles Tiffin, Program Chair for the Public Safety program at Capella; and Joseph Pascarella, core faculty member at Capella – are experienced professionals and educators in the field of public safety. Capella University is an accredited, online university with more than 19,000 students.

“This site provides a forum to discuss critical public safety issues of the day. I encourage everyone interested in public safety to join the discussion. I believe that forums such as these might very well provide new insight for us into public safety issues, such as our role in society and how we can help make our communities, cities, states and country safer,” Tiffin said.
