The Center for Excellence and Education investing in your school’s future

Maximizing faculty performance and student retention will help your college keep a competitive edge. In fact, many schools have already realized that routine faculty training and development leads to continued success. Investing in your faculty is investing in your school’s future.
Since its inception, Imagine America Foundation has supported continued education and training opportunities for career college personnel. The IAF has invested in faculty training by sponsoring Gail Benjamin Fellowships. Gail Benjamin Fellowships offer grants to females and underrepresented minorities to attend the annual Career College Association Leadership Institute and the Women’s Leadership Institute.
As a result of the continued mission to enhance education and training opportunities for career college personnel, the IAF has created the Center for Excellence and Education. After meetings and survey responses, the IAF board of directors decided to collaborate with MaxKnowledge to offer an online training initiative providing employee development and performance improvement solutions for the career college sector of higher education.
The Center for Excellence and Education has two program tracks, Faculty Training and Management Development. These program tracks offer a comprehensive online program for career college faculty and staff. The following online services will be offered as part of an online, subscription-based program:

  • Interactive assessment tools, including preassessment;
  • Multimedia learning modules;
  • Decision-tree simulations;
  • Live webcasts;
  • Discussion forums facilitated by experts;
  • Guided employee development plans leading to third-party certification; and
  • Assistance with on-the-job performance assessments.
